it's never too late to post about our christmas party at dugway

awhile back.. like way back in december, my mom invited us to her work christmas party out in dugway. if you non-utahns don't know where or what that is, it's basically the area 51 utah style. you know like where they keep the aliens and stuff. or where they "don't" keep the aliens...... shh.

anyways so yea it was a blast. they had lots of games, activities for kids, rock climbing, food, dessert, santa showed up on a firetruck, tyler and i both won prizes! he won a raffle, but i won the 'best santa hat' contest. sooo take that boyfriend. then we played the whip cream game where you turned the little thingy and it might flip up at your face and it might not. that had my anxiety on lockdown, shiz. if you follow me on snapchat || eemilyosbornee || then you probably remember that day cause my story never stopped haha.

so there you have it. christmas in february.
anyone have any fun adventures and never blogged about? do tell.

hee haws pumpkin patch

dreydan had a field trip with his preschool last week to a local pumpkin patch. i tagged along with a couple other moms & my sister in law. it'd seriously been years since i'd been to this place and i forgot how fun & cute it is. because we went during the day, it was very mellow, quiet, open.. we basically had the place to ourselves and it was awesome.

we took a hayride, snuggled some baby rabbits, hopped in a corral with goats and chickens and fed them from our hands, spent most of our time on the huge slide and in their corn box & then we picked out pumpkins before leaving. baby girl slept most of the time, but towards the end wanted in on the action. so i pulled her tiny body out of her stroller and loved on her little lips. my perfect baby.

it was such a good afternoon and i'm glad i decided to go! and i'm glad i made my sister in law and nephew come with! nothing like ditching your class to do something fun with another class ha..

also.. to the mom with high heels and the top bun i saw as we were getting ready to head out.. if you're reading this.. please tell me your instagram name so i can see which selfie (or two) you chose to post out of the 64,652 you took by the pumpkin sign. did you get the angle you were looking for? what filter did you end up with? your hair looked fine to me but i know internally you were struggling with it. your youngest was pretty impatient with you, did he finally succumb to your narcissism and wait while you got your perfect shot? i really hope so. anyways, let me know!

mother's day

dreydan loves me being pregnant. he loves laying next to me & being silly while talking to his sister. he always says mom is she awake? and puts his hands on me to see for himself. and like clockwork, she will respond to his voice with kicks and shoves. he's addicted to her little movements and it's so incredibly cute.

i love being a mommy to this sweet little man. and i can't believe i get to love another little someone just as much. i was worried my heart wasn't going to be big enough for someone else. sometimes i'm still worried.. like how can i love another baby as much as i love dreydan? but each day that passes, i know it's totally possible. i already can't imagine not having her.

the only thing i want this mother's day is a healthy, growing baby girl. i look forward to her bladder punches every night & random dance parties throughout the day because i'm pretty sure that's her way of saying i'm still good up in hurr!

happy mother's day to all mommies! especially mine, the bestest of them all.

mother's day inspo - keeping it awesome

i feel like every year i struggle with what to get/do for my mom on mother's day. you want her to feel special, loved, appreciated, needed. . . all in one. but i've realized i don't need to do it in a let's cry together because this is so sentimental way. she knows i love her more than anything.. i think. i hope she does. hi mom!

so this year (mom cover your ears!), why not keep it simple with some perfect, humorous (because i'm hilarious) gifts she can keep forever. or hang up in her office. or smile at when she's making tea and pulls down her new favorite mug. and seriously, a succulent goes with everything. who doesn't love a succulent? just give someone a succulent for no reason and they will remember & love you forever. swear it.

keep it awesome for mother's day this year.

you're welcome.
