is she not the cutest damn chunky newborn you've ever seen? i mean!

one of my favorite besties (some of you would know her as 'miss mama me') & her hubby welcomed their new baby girl into the world last night. it will probably be months before i'll be able to meet her, so i'm enjoying staring at pictures i keep forcing them to send me because it's just never enough. so proud of you, whit! you did it again & she's more than perfect. the hair, the pucker, the non-existent neck, the armpit rolls.. gah, so many heart eyes!

Cancun, Mexico.

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort (which i recommend to anyone), had an ocean view room, & a giant bathroom.
Our days consisted of eating, laying around, ping pong, eating, swim aerobics, laying around, eating...
Heaven, right?

They had entertainment every night and we went to two shows, Michael Jackson & Grease.
For a Mexican resort for tourists, they turned out pretty good. I loved them.

Our only regret is we did not do an excursion. We really really wanted to, it just didn't fit into our
rough schedule... We suck. But it gives us a reason to go back!

So much sun, so much food, sooo much fun.
I didn't bring my camera out as much as I thought I would.
We weren't busy, we were just super lazyyy. And I loved it.

Our 4th.

So imma little behind... just love me!

Tyler had to work on the 4th, of course.

That afternoon it started raining, go figure.

A little later in the day the weather perked up and once Tyler got home we headed

out to the lake to meet up with some of our friends. 

The best company, yummy food, margarita's to die for, fireworks.. It was the bestest.

Every time this girl & I get together, we have to hit Blockbuster 

& find the scariest movies for our Horror Movie Fest.

{not sure why the sign says 'action' but it's def the horror section}

Unfortunately, we SUCK at picking new movies. 

I mean, we've seen all the good ones already, so we have to dig & try really hard to not get something terrible. 

Which happens every time.

This time we picked out The Triangle, The Thaw, & New Nightmare.

We felt good about our picks because they had some good actors like, Melissa George, Liam Hemsworth {hello!}, Val Kilmer, & Shawn Ashmore {weston from the following. double hello!}.
