my sick baby
my poor sweet little lovey. she's got congestion like a mother, a flemy cough, she can't get comfy outside of my arms, and her raspy cries make me do anything for her. but like i wouldn't anyways... i mean check out those rolls.
anyone have any home remedy suggestions? we've got the humidifier following her around like a pesky animal, baby vicks rubbed all over (feet included), a little tylenol at night to help her sleep better & hot baths on the daily. sometimes twice. what else can i do?! fill me with mommy knowledge!

ReplyDeleteOh poor baby girl! I'm not sure if she is old enough, but I find that baby ibuprofen works better than Tylenol for my little one. Good luck mama!

DeleteOh sweet little love! I pray she gets better soon. Do you use essential oils? I'm just starting to dabble in them. Mostly for Mason's ADHD, but it's helped. I've heard there are blends to help with congestion. :)

ReplyDeleteMy pediatrician told me to elevate the crib mattress slightly with a rolled up thin blanket or towel. That helped with my little girl's drainage issues when she was all congested and couldn't breathe well.
ReplyDeletegood idea! she's actually been sleeping with us the past few nights because she's been waking up so much that it has been easier to just have her right there. but we do have her sleeping a little elevated on a pillow higher than us, which seems to help. but when we get her back in her crib we will def elevate her there, too. thank you!
