while my mom was over in turkey, she made a bestie. a sweet little pup named ally. she was abandoned and when my mom decided to keep her, she contacted SPCA International -Operation Baghdad Pups to help get her home. originally, ally was supposed to get home before my mom was, but she got back about a week and a half after my mom. which happened perfectly, if you ask me.
all the grandkids met grandma and grandpa at the cargo hold and we all sat patiently for our pup to come home.
and! our local news station caught wind of it.. so they came out and did a story about my mom, ally & her story, and how cool the SPCA International is. here is the clip of that.
What a sweet story! I love that your mom was able to bring her home (even if a week and a half later!). And so cool that the news wrote a story!
