This little cabin is in the same state park as Dinosaur National Monument & it's so cool!
Just some badass old lady living deep in the mountains by herself with her cattle & animals & shit until she died.
They said she lived an 18th century lifestyle well into the 19th century.
That's what I wanna do. Foe realzies.
They've got the cabin opened up so you can walk through it, walk around her ranch, walk anywhere you want.
"Walk where Josie walked"...
Loved it!
If you're ever in the Uintah County area and you have a day to bum, I would recommend it.
So pretty, awesome history, it's just cool, okay?
What a cool place to visit! Great pics.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool place. I would love to live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Sign me up!
ReplyDelete(one) I would love to visit that cabin, except at night because I bet it is creepy as an M.effer & I'm into that kind of stuff (two) never could I ever live in the deep dark woods with livestock BY MYSELF. Josie must've been hard core. (three) since I started stalking your blog, I have thought Dreydan has the coolest name ever, but seeing it printed on that adorbs backpack made me love it even more. That. Is. All. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yea I bet it is too! But I'd still go because I'm just THAT kind of creep to voluntarily traumatize myself. No big deal. And yea, she was a hard core badass. She was kind of a felon & had been married like 4 times & decided to say fk it, i'm gonna live by myself.... HERE. Done. Isn't that a cute backpack?! My mom brought it home from Afghanistan for him. It's his fave :-))
