Tyler is going to Japan.
He was invited by the Elecom Kobe Finies to go out & play football for them.
In Japan.
Japan.
Did I mention this team was in Japan?

The city is Kobe (pronounced koh-bay) and it's in Japan...
I know what you're thinking. Wait? They play football there? Yup. It's a professional American/Japanese league and they have the same rules, same season schedules, same look etc...
It's actually a very cool opportunity and I'm really excited/proud/nervous/anxious/happy for him!

He leaves June 27th.
He'll be going out first, settle in, get the feel for everything, and then Drey & I will follow a little bit later. Hopefully around mid August, give or take a week or so.

Drey & I are going to MISS him so much! I was hoping we wouldn't have to be away from each other EVER. AGAIN. like we were went he went to Georgia. I never get anything I want, do I?
I love him so much. He's my best friend, partner in crime, the whizzle to my whazzle... Sometimes I want to slap that smartass mouth he's got, but he wouldn't the man I fell in love with and married without it.

All about Dreydan

 2 months from today he'll be TWO.
Will someone punch me in the face, please?

Anyways, here's an update of my baby boy!

• He's in love with "Mayur"(mater) from Cars, "Woolly"(woody) & Buzz from Toy Story, and as always, Mickey Mouse!
• He's talking SO much. He'll bust out random sentences and I have no clue where they came from. For example, the other morning I told him he needed to finish his breakfast and he responded with "Ok. An' affer ... get keem up ... i'm baff ... I pay ow-side?" The moms will understand that.
• When we ask him a yes or no question, he'll answer "i did" instead of yes. So cute!
• He can turn on the TV and start a movie by himself. Not sure if that is a good or bad accomplishment? Ha...
• He sings the 'A B C's' to me everyday. He struggles with the order in which they go in, but he makes it to the end eventually. Sometimes he'll just skip to the end part, "next time know my B C's!!!"
• Ty has taught him that it's FUNNY to lick my face. It's not. Drey will stick his tongue out and i'll say "Drey that's yucky! We don't do that..." And he'll laugh and say "funnyyy, funnyyy!" I have to walk away because he can't see me smiling. Even when he's being naughty he's too cute!
• Every night he has to fall asleep with: his blue football, at least 1 Hot Wheel car or his Mater tow truck, his stuffed lion, puppy, and his blanket. Same goes with nap time.
• He calls Fruity Pebbles "candy cereal". It's his favorite!
• I'm very proud of his manners! He says 'please' and 'thank you' at the right times all throughout the day! Even to cashiers at the stores, when I say it, he'll say it too.
• When we're in the car and i'm chatting on the phone, I can hear him in the backseat mimicking everything I say! I get distracted sometimes and laugh out loud cause he's so weird! And I love it...

I love how random toddlers are.

I'm so glad he's around to keep my mom entertained.

Farm Country

At Thanksgiving Point!

Drey & I went the other day for a couple of hours and he was in heaven!

They had every animal you could think of that'd be on a farm and Drey ran around like a looney

to each and every one, talking, making their noises and saying "Hi baby _____!" even if it wasn't a baby. He kills me!

Love this place! 

What happens in Vegas..

...STAYS IN VEGAS! duh. 
My friend Paige took her Bachelorette Party to Sin City!

5 of us shoved our luggage in Kim's trunk, piled ourselves
in the car and headed out for the weekend.

We stayed 2 nights at Imperial Palace(a dump but so fun!),
vegged by the pool for hoursss, and walked everywhere.

What I love most about Paige is that she needs nor has NO
plans, ever. She's so chill and will have fun doing pretty much
anything. ...whether she wants to or not ;-)

I had SO much fun.
It was relaxing, crazy, funny, tiring, scary, awesome..all jumbled into one weekend.

Next stop... Her wedding!! June 7th is creepin' up fast.
