Dreydan meets Max!

Finally!

My mom is like a 3rd grandma to this boy so it was about time for him and Dreydan to meet. He's the son of my moms friend in Arizona and my mom just adores him. He's the only child and is an absolute blessing to his parents because they started a little later in life and so they weren't sure if they'd get pregnant.

Max just turned 2 and he was an angel! He was the sweetest thing ever. When we walked into their house, there were toys everywhere. I felt like I had just walked into a daycare center that only cared for one child. But Max knew that all of those toys were HIS, so when Drey tried playing with anything, Max was not happy.

They both warmed up and after a while they were like long lost buddies! Then a few days before we left Az, we took the boys to the zoo in Tuscon. They were in heaven! I can't tell you how flippin' cute little boys are at the zoo. Especially Drey & Max. They knew the animals and their noises, and they had so much fun.

I believe congrats are in order!

This summer is all about love.
June and July in particular will have a special place in two hearts.
There will be two weddings that I not only get the priviledge of attending, but being part of as a bridesmaid! I'm such a lucky girl...

~Paige Donoghue~
 We met at Snow College as roommates and fellow teammates for the SC Badgerettes, we've been in love ever since.
She's engaged to be married to Shawn Holbrook on June 7th.
She's the sweetest person inside & out.

~Whitney Calhoun~
I was first introduced to her by my husbands BFF as his "baby mama". But behind her back it was "my future wife" Aww!
She's engaged to be married to Taylor Jeski on July 21st.
She's fabulous and I can't. wait. to get floppy with her!

~~~
These bride-to-be's are beautiful, their weddings will be amazing and i'm so so so genuinely happy for both of them.
Congratulations!
My new obsession is...
...washable crayons!
Seriously, I'm in loveee.
Sounds a bit dramatic, but my life has changed!
No more worries about finding crayon markings on the walls, doors, floor, fridge, etc...
Damp cloth + One swipe = Crayon marking is GONZO!
The only reason we don't want our kids coloring on anything but paper is because it's such a struggle to clean. Now that it's not, I don't care! Drey can color on anything and everything.
Tombstone!
My mom lives out in the middle of nowhere. However, it's a pretty big town, equivalent to Orem, mostly because of the Army military base that's here. THEE reason she's here. It's about 10 steps from the Mexico border...not the good parts! Border patrol is everywhere and they are master hiders, it's a little creepy.
I needed to share that.
Saturday me, Dreydan, my mom, and Keith went out to Tombstone. A little old town with a lot of history! It's more of a tourist attraction now, 'main street' is blocked off to traffic so horse and buggies can own the roads, it's like walking back in time! They have tours, ghost tours, gun fights, lots and lots of shops, everyone is dressed up in olden western clothes, old buildings, museums.. I loved it.
{main street}
We watched one of the Gun Fight shows, Drey hated it. He cried when they'd shout and shoot their guns but he couldn't tear his eyes away. There was another baby in there about the same age as him doing the same thing, so I didn't feel like a bad mom when I kept him watching. Poor little guys.
{bad guy, sheriff, drey, me, bad guy}
Before we left, Drey and I had to get a 'back in time photos' together. He loveeeed the cowboy boots. He was walking around in them lovin' the sound it made on the hardwood floor.
{bad guy, saloon girl}
{look at that face, tuckered right out}
If you ever have the opportunity to visit Tombstone, do it!
