What's making my life good right now.

  1. Skype!
  2. Chocolate chip Eggo waffles. I eat them every morning.
  3. Arizona weather, so far! It's a perfect 70 degrees.
  4. Tyler's comfy clothes I wear/sleep in pretty much everyday and night.
  5. Chick-fil-a's chicken salad sandwiches.
  6. As always, my Kindle! If you love reading, get one. You won't regret it.
  7. My "good morning beautiful" texts I wake up to. Miss you lover!
  8. Dreydan's sweet, sweet voice.
  9. Texts from my friend, Whitney, telling me her bottle of wine is gone and she's "Floppy"... Haha
  10. Teen Mom 2. I hate to love them. Except Jenelle, I hate that white trash *&%$%&, terrible mother @$^*%!!. And does it bug anyone else that Cory is a mouth breather?

The fun has only begun.

My grandma always told me stories of my mom and how big of a climber she was when she was little. She'd always say, "If I wanted to find Lynn, I'd look up!".
I think that little piece of my mom is coming out in my baby.
He climbs everything! It ranges from the exercise equipment to the backs of the kitchen chairs...and everything else in between.

Ugh..
Getting into the walker he no longer needs
Pulling himself into the Rhino

On top of the table

Sometimes it's safe to snap a picture. Other times, not so much.
A heart attack is what will be the end of me.

All about Dreydan

My little boo is growing up sooo fast, and i'm extremely sad about it. When I'm fixing dinner, he loves to be held so he can see what I'm doing, but just last night I couldn't do it! He's too heavy to carry in one arm and cook. ....sad, sad, sad....  That's only the beginning. UPDATE TIME!

  1. When we're getting ready to leave somewhere, he knows. He'll find his shoes, sit in the spot I normally put him so I can easily slip them on, and he'll say "juice" or "water" because he knows I always give him his sippy before we leave the house.
  2. With the good, always comes the bad. This kid has tantrums like i've never seen before. Especially when Tyler or I tell him 'no' to something. Lord help us when we say "Dreydan, no-no please".
  3. He shares! He's beyond willing to share anything he's eating, playing with, or whatever. Most days...
  4. If he wants something and we ask him to say 'please', he'll do it. Unless he's already throwing himself on the floor, then you just have to forget about asking him anything and walk away.
  5. He loveeees animals. He can say the noises of just about any animal out there. When we're out and about, he can spot any animal from a mile away. If he randomly starts making an animal noise, you can bet there is one around.
  6. He's becoming quite a talker!! Words he says regularly now are: apple, shoe, NO, please, mama, dada, uh-oh, ewww, ready, cookie, juice, water, more, truck, football, milk, moon, mickey, ow, jump, up.
  7. When he first learned what an apple was, he would only say it when he wanted one. Now he says it when he's hungry, see's one, wants a snack, anything.
  8. He's still very much a people person. He never wants anything to do with me, until I'm the only person left.
  9. He likes to go for walks around the house. He'll grab your hand and just walk around. Nowhere in particular, but just as long as he has your hand and he's the one leading, he's happy.
{my baby}

I sure do love him.

Ringin' in the New Year!

Can you believe it's 2012 already?

For our New Years Eve celebration we decided to trek out to Vernal for the weekend. Remember our friends Whitney+Taylor..? We stayed with them at his families home. It was such a blast! Of course, it's always a good time when we're together.

Saturday morning Whitney and I took the kiddies, Drey & Myla, to Jump Jive (equivalent to Jump on it! in Lehi) in town. It took Drey a while to warm up to the place, he didn't like being thrown into a bounce house by himself, weird I know. However, Myla ran around like she owned the place... Once Drey realized it was FUN to go down the slides and bounce around, he started enjoying himself. They were so adorable, I love them.

Pizza!

Later that night, after me and Whitney slaved away in the kitchen for hours on end... friends of Taylor & Whitney started showing up for the night around 6:00pm, poker game started at 6:30pm. A couple of the girls opted out of the game, we have children to tend to, but it was fun to watch! Taylor and Ty were the last two in and guess who took the pot home? Yup, MY MAN! What whaaaat!

Adult poker game...

...baby poker game.

After we put all the babies to bed, we played a couple rounds of boys vs girls Catch Phrase, watched the 'ball drop', and then played a little dance kinect...sooooo exhausting/fun/crazy/embarrassing!

Anyways, it was a great way to ring in the New Year! Hope ya'll had a safe and fun night!

Happy 2012!
